Mining the Undersense strives to embody the moment before imminent failure through the language of decomposition and uncertainty. The installation evokes fragile ecosystems and metaphorical support systems by focusing on both symbiosis and autonomy, organic and synthetic materials such as steel, bioplastics, wood and clay.
